Best of Both Wolves (review)

Yeesh – so maybe Best of Both Wolves might not be my favorite wolf shifter book (and I usually love a shifter romance).

There were a lot of fluff chapters that didn’t move the story or the characters forward. A few of those chapters are okay, but there were a lot of them throughout the book.

There were a few things that didn’t work for me:

—There were also so many characters that I couldn’t keep them all straight.

—I didn’t believe the spark between Sierra and Adam (I also don’t love the ista-love trope).

—How many times is the word “boat” used in this book?!

That said, this might be the first romance or romcom I’ve read where there isn’t a third act breakup – so that was exciting!

Overall, I don’t think this author’s writing style is necessarily for me.

Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca for the #gifted digital copy of Best of Both Wolves.
