Convenience Store Woman was so hyped a few months ago, and it sounded really enjoyable, so when I saw it in the bookstore a few months ago, I snatched the only copy they had and brought it home with me.
I didn’t really pay attention to the synopsis not this one, though. I remember reading a lot of really wonderful reviews.
This is written almost stream of consciousness-style. With no chapter breaks and completely written in Keiko’s thoughts and POV. While this was a quick read, I found myself really settling into Keiko’s thoughts and had a difficult time shaking Keiko off when I put the book down.
The author definitely captured the convenience store in just a few pages, so much so that I felt like I was there.
I loved it! The guy was weird though! 😂
